Eric Snow recognizes that drug activity in Teton County is more prevalent than many residents realize. Significant drug busts in recent years are the direct result of the strong, proactive work by Teton County Sheriff’s Office deputies and investigators operating in the community.

Strong partnerships with federal and state agencies, including the DEA and DCI, have proven critical in combating drug distribution networks. Snow is committed to deepening and expanding these collaborative relationships to achieve even greater results for public safety in Teton County.

Consistent and aggressive enforcement against both large-scale distribution networks and individual dealers will remain a top priority. The impact of drugs on families and communities can be devastating and often spans generations. Snow supports a comprehensive approach that includes:

• Highway interdiction to stop drugs from entering the county
• Targeted investigations of known dealers
• Front-line prevention through the School Resource Officer (SRO) program to steer young people toward positive choices

Wyoming remains one of the few states that has not relaxed its drug enforcement standards. This strength gives patrol deputies greater ability to prioritize impaired driving enforcement, particularly DUI cases involving drugs, helping to keep Teton County roads safer.
