Eric Snow is a Teton County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputy and the Republican nominee in the 2026 Sheriff race. He and his wife live in Alta with their three young children.
Before joining the Sheriff’s Office in 2022, Eric worked in media and sales, including roles supporting major technology and defense organizations. He brings frontline law enforcement experience, private sector focus and a background in clear public communication to the race.
Eric is running to keep the Sheriff’s Office focused on public safety, professional law enforcement, and service to the people of Teton County – in line with Wyoming and federal rule of law.
Eric supports consistent enforcement of the law and practical policies that keep Teton County safe for residents and visitors.
Eric supports legal immigration and the continued practice of honoring ICE detainers for individuals already in custody, consistent with Wyoming law and the approach used by most counties in the state.
As a certified Drug Recognition Expert (D.R.E.), Eric recognizes that drug activity in Teton County is more significant than many residents realize and supports continued proactive investigation and interdiction.
Eric believes the Sheriff’s Office can and should communicate more clearly and consistently with the public about its work and priorities.
