Teton County Deputy Eric Snow Files for Sheriff

TETON COUNTY, WY – May 29, 2026

Snow, who resides in Alta with his wife and three children, has served as a patrol deputy with the Teton County Sheriff’s Office since 2022.

Snow recently received the Governor’s DUI Award for his outstanding contributions to roadway safety and DUI enforcement in Wyoming. Prior to his law enforcement career, he worked in corporate media, serving clients in Silicon Valley and with defense contractors, and managed a sales team in the beverage industry.

In 2021, Snow sought a better life for his family grounded in the principles of freedom and individual liberty that define Wyoming. He answered Wyoming’s call by moving his family across the country to build a future rooted in those values.

“The role of Sheriff is a critical link between state statutes, public safety, and the community,” Snow said. “It demands strong leadership, relationship-building with other elected officials and partner agencies, and a deep commitment to the people and the place we call home.”

By seeking the office of Sheriff, Snow aims to bring his private-sector experience and proven law enforcement record to guide the Teton County Sheriff’s Office into its next chapter. He plans to champion a proactive approach to the issues that matter most to Teton County residents – both those discussed locally and nationally – while ensuring the public hears more about the excellent work already being done by the department.

Snow has chosen to put down roots in Teton County and raise his family in a place that embodies a passion for the outdoors, neighborly support, and a principled way of life.

Eric Snow is proud to announce his candidacy for Teton County Sheriff.
